November 30- December 3, 2015

This Week

Hello folks! How are you doing? 

So now, we are already on the 27th week of ICT class! Hooraaay!

And for the nth time, we are excused again in our class because we practiced for our speech choir and we ended up being the third place! Hooray! But unfortunately, there were only 3 participants who joined. Yea.

So going back, logical operators was the topic we discussed last Thursday. It's easy to understand but in application, I don't think so. Sir Peralta dicussed the three logical operators and fortunately, we've finished that part.

Next week, we're moving on to Conditional Operators.

DSPC 2015 Rocks!

     Good day everyone! Hope you're doing good!

      We are on our 25th week!

        For this week, I wasn't able to attend our class again in ICT for we are excused because we had a contest in Journalism, the Division Schools Press Conference. It's all worth it because we ramained as the champion in Collaborative Publishing and the over-all champ in DSPC 2015. To God be the glory!

        I'll make sure to cope up to the lessons that I've missed in ICT!

WEEK XXIV

November 9-12, 2015

Welcome JS 3!

     What's up guys! Hope you're doing good~!

     So this week, we just welcomed Java Script 3! When I encoded it, I saw that it's a little bit more complicated than the Java Script 2. We just encoded all the examples in the xerox copy that Sir Peralta. We we're excused last Wednesday and Thursday and Sir Peralta was not around last Monday and Tuesday so the discussion will be on next week.

WEEK XXIII

November 2-5, 2015

Where Did I Go Wrong?

     Hey there guys! How's life?

     This week, we had our first hands-on quiz for third grading! Haist. And unfortunately, I got a low score. Imagine, I only got 7/50. And it is not a good start.

     But I know that this happened for a reason. I think it's a lesson for me because I didn't practiced the night before the quiz. I should take the quiz seriously the next time and practice before it. I should work 10 times better than what I did in the second grading so that I will get higher grades in ICT this third grading.

WEEK XXII

October 26-30, 2015

Sembreak...

        Hello there! This is the week 22 and it's our sembreak!

Well anyway, this week didn't seem like the usual sembreak where you've got nothing to do. Just eat, sleep, take a bath, eat, watch t.v. etc. We had the training in Campus Journalism held at Binmaley School of Fisheries last October 27-28.

See? We still have to work even though it's sembreak! But it's fun. As long as you love what you are doing and you are willing to win it, of course it will make you glad.

Bagyong Lando... strikes.

        Last weekend, there was typhoon that unfortunately, landfall in Pangasinan and because of that classes were suspended  from Monday to Friday.

WEEK XX

October 12- 15, 2015

JS Exam

        Good day! Hays. We are already on our 20th week of ICT class! Yeheeeey~

So this week is our hell week! Oh yes. So definitely we had our 2nd periodic exam in ICT. And like the previous exam, it is a time pressured one. 9 minutes, 18 seconds per question. Pfft.

I was shocked with the result of my exam. I only got 21/30. I keep asking myself, "Where did I go wrong?". At first, all the questions are easy but a little bit confusing. And when Sir Peralta showed me the result, I was like "Okay." but deep inside, "Shocks! Ang baba."

I guess I should've understand every questions more. It's still a lesson for me. I know everything happens for a reason! I'm still grateful with the result of my exam even though it was not that high. :)

JS Acts

Good day! So, this blog is all about the 19th week of our Class on ICT.

We encoded, discussed and had activities about JavaScript this week. The activities are all about the 3 methods for dialog box. And I'm still confused about it.

Fortunately, I have finished all the activities but I got no scores anymore. Hays. But it's okay! Better days are coming! :)

WEEK XVIII

Continuing JavaScript... Part 2

Hey! Welcome to the 18th week of my ICT class!

For this week, we had our surprise quiz about JavaScript 1. And unfortunately, I only got 14 out of 20. Really sucks. Huhu. But I'll surely take my next quiz seriously. Hays.

After the quiz, we just encoded the new source codes of the files for the JavaScript 2 that Sir Peralta gave us. After that, we discussed the dialog boxes and the three methods of it, the alert, prompt and confirm. But we just discussed the alert part because there was no time left last Wednesday and we don't have class last Thursday because Sir Peralta was not around and we just used the computers and watched videos.

WEEK XVII

September 21-24, 2015

Rocking JavaScript

Hello! Good day! The time is running so fast... I can feel the hell week breeze! LOL. Okay done with that.

So for this seventeenth week of our ICT class, we've discussed the JavaScript of course. The strings, numeric, boolean and the use of variables. And unfortunately, on the activities given by Sir Peralta, I didn't get even one of them. Hays... how will I survive this whole thing? Phew.

And ohhhh.... we had our first hands-on quiz on JavaScript! I was shocked and murmured that time because I'm still having difficult time on how to use JavaScript.

So what I did is practiced on JavaScript even though my schedule the night before the quiz was hectic. I practiced while I'm doing our IP presentation. Hehehe. But what happened on my quiz was really unbelievable. I have practiced the table structure that Sir Peralta gave us to copy. But still, I didn't get it correctly! There was a minus 3 points. So my total score is 27 but I think I will still get deduction because of incorrect folder. Huhuhu.

It is still a lesson for me to take my quiz seriously and DON'T PANIC! Hahaha! Nothing is impossible! Hooo! I can do this! ^_^

WEEK XVI

JavaScript Invading...

        Good day~ We are now on our 16th week!

So, this week, it was full of activities! I was not able to attend our class last Monday because I had a contest held at the Municipal Library. And last Tuesday and Wednesday, we are excused on our class because we celebrated the annual Intramurals. It was properly celebrated naman. Hehe. I only attended our class last Thursday because we don't have any activities that will affect our class on ICT. And of course, Hello JavaScript kami. Haha! I understand the discussion that time but when we had the activity, I wasn't able to get the additional points because I don't know where to put the "<br />" tag! And it's kinda frustrating because I can't remember and I didn't study that part.

Next time, I will make sure I will get the additional points! Aja! Keep practicing and don't give up! :)

WEEK XV

September 7-10, 2015

HELLO JAVA SCRIPT!

Hello! How are you guys? We are now on our 15th week of ICT class! And now we finally met Java Script!

      Last Monday, we had a surprise quiz! Still about CSS2. I got 7/10. Not bad. But I wish I had a higher score. Hehe.

Last Tuesday, Java Script was introduced to us by Sir Peralta. And as expected, it's complicated! I keep on asking myself, "Bakit merong ganito?", "Bakit kailangan may ganito?", "Anong error sa codes ko bakit hindi mag view?!". If I failed on my last hands-on quiz on CSS, what more on Java Script?! It's scary to think about it.

From Tuesday to Wednesday we just encoded the codes that are on the hard copy that Sir Peralta gave to us. And last Thursday, Sir Peralta discussed the introduction for Java Script.

I know this is the start of the real battle on ICT class! Must practice and read more about Java Script! Fighting!

WEEK XIV

August 31- September 3, 2015

        Hi! We are now on our 14th week of class in ICT. And there's a lot happened this week!

So as the time passed by and lots of knowledge and topics had been discussed, we are now tasked to make our homepage using CSS. It was a hard task for me. 'Cause i'm still not good/expert in using CSS. But big thanks to our Almighty God! I have finished it on the right time! :D

We also had our second hands-on quiz. I practiced to perfect the screenshot for 7 hours at home but unfortunately, I got only 50% of my total score because I used ID Selector instead of Div style. I am very disappointed of myself that time because I worked hard for it but then, everything happens for a reason. I believe that greater blessings will come to my life as long as I don't stop working and practicing. Next time, I will do my best to perfect the third hands-on quiz and other exercises.

WEEK XIII

August 24-27, 2015


Hello! We are on our 13th week of ICT class and it's a good week for me!

Sir Peralta gave us exercises for us to be ready on our incoming hands-on quiz. It's a bit hard for me and unfortunately, I didn't get the additional points this time. But it gave a me motivation to upgrade and study harder to not fail the hands-on quiz next week.

And now, I learned that I still need to practice and practice for my results to be good on the hands-on quiz!

WEEK XII

August 17-20, 2015


      Hey! So we are already on our Week 12 of ICT class!

We discussed about the CSS 2 again last Monday. We just recite and asked by Sir Peralta. I attended my ICT class last tuesday late because we participated on a contest. I wasn't able to attend on Wednesday because we had our contest again. But I sill learned something on the CSS because I still read the CSS 2.  Last Thursday, we are tasked to do exercises regarding on CSS 2 as a practice for the hands-on quiz next week. Fortunately, I got additional points because I was able to finished the exercise 2 (using external css).

I need to improve my skill on how to deal with CSS because it is still complicated for me. Especially we're going to have our next hands-on quiz next week.

WEEK XI

August 10-13, 2015


Hello! Our 11th week of ICT went well. Second grading had officialy started.

Sir Peralta just discussed the CSS 2. And the usual interaction between a teacher and students happened. Sir Peralta will ask questions and we will answer them. It was fun and exciting because we will just going to find the answers on the file that Sir Peralta send to us.

We are excused on our ICT Class last Thursday because we need to attend a play.

WEEK X

August 3-6, 2015


        Hello! We are already on our tenth week of ICT class now and there's a lot of things happened.

First periodical exam came by. It was a "time-pressured" exam and it's quite anxious and exciting at the same time. I got a good score, 25/30. Better than what I was expecting. Well, I learned that you really need to understand every questions given
in the exam even it is a time pressured exam. 

Checking of blogs for the 1st grading period was done also. I was rank 19 in the blog ratings. Maybe I should explore more on how to make my webpage stunning and good.

WEEK IX

  July 27-30, 2015              

                Good day! We are on our ninth week of ICT Class and we’re still on CSS 2.

                We just continued the activities given to us and finished it until Thursday. We did nothing much than that. And we also talked about the evaluation of the blogs and how to compute the scores we will give to our classmates. Sir Peralta just discussed and showed us how to use the grading sheet given to us.

                There is no problem in getting the average of the scores and total for me. But, I got confused about the formulas on getting the rank, ehem. But thanks to my seatmates for helping me get into it.

                Evaluation of the blogs is near! :3 Godbless us. Hihi.

WEEK VIII

      July 20-23, 2015


          For our eighth week of ICT class, we just did again CSS activities. It's a little bit more complicated than the lesson before. That lets me read the file that Sir Richard send to  us.

       I can say that learning CSS is great by now. I can already sense the thrill of having hands-on quiz like our seniors told us last year.

        Learning CSS also gives me motivation to strive more so that I'm not going to have a low score again. And ooh. Exams are coming, so I really need to review CSS! :)

WEEK V

June 29-30, July 1-2, 2015


     For the fifth week of our ICT, we further studied and discussed the CSS. Sir Peralta asked us about CSS. The meaning, parts, uses etc. He also gave us activities regarding on our topic.

     I finished my activities early even though they are a little bit complicated.

     I got confused on the placings of the characters used in the CSS code. It's more complicated than the HTML but I hope that it won't be a burden for me.

WEEK VII

July 13-16, 2015

   
     And yes! We are on our seventh week of class in our ICT.

     We are still on CSS, digging deeper on it. At first, I think it's hard and that I will never pass a hands-on quiz about it. So, I hope that there will never be a hands-on quiz about ICT, ever.

     But it happened. Sir Peralta announced that we will have our hands-on quiz about CSS on Thursday. I felt anxious at the first time because I really don't know what to do.

     So to overcome my "fear" on CSS, I practiced. I practiced until I perfect it. And with God's greatness and mercy, I got a perfect score and I am so happy. It is my first hands-on quiz.

     I know that there will be more coming hands-on quiz. All I need is to understand every bits of CSS.

WEEK VI

July 6-9, 2015

  We only came to school Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in the sixth week because of the weather. Though we still attended our ICT class and finished our CSS activities.

    Our quiz that was supposed to be given to us last Thursday was suspended too and we can't deny that we are so happy because we are going to have more time to review.

WEEK IV

 June 22-25, 2015

  Cabling was our topic in our fourth week of ICT. Sir Richard gave us UTP cable and two RJ 45 to do it. We also needed a wire cutter and a crimping tool.

     It was unfortunate for me because I had a hard time doing it. And I tried 3 times and bought 3 pairs of RJ45 just to finish it.

     I was the last one to  make the cable work. And it sucks. I am really not that good when it comes to those kind of works. I hope I can change that though.

    Last Wednesday, we started to tackle the CSS or the Cascading Style Sheets. It's like HTML but it is more difficult. I hope the topic would be not that hard on the next days of discussing it.

WEEK III

June 15-18, 2015

     For the third week of our ICT class, we disassembled and assembled the parts of the system unit. It’s funny and at the same time stupid that we did not bring screw drivers. We needed to go and search for teachers who have it.

     The first try of our performance was not easy. Looking for teachers that have screw drivers consumed more than ¼ of our time. It’s difficult to remember where the ports are connected and also the screws. It’s not easy but we survived.

     Last Thursday, we had a very long surprise quiz. I am completely shocked about it because that should be the day that we’re going to perform cabling. I was nervous but thanks to God, the result was not bad. I learned a lesson again. You shall recall all the topics you’ve studied because you don’t know when will Sir Peralta give a quiz.

WEEK II

June 8-11, 2015

           Hay! The second week of our ICT class has been a hectic week for me. Like, you’re going to memorize the parts of the motherboard for the second quiz. But, the result of my second quiz was pretty cool. It’s better than the last quiz. Phew.

       The topics are getting more complicated. Next week, Sir Peralta told us that we’re going to disassemble and assemble the parts of the system unit. Wow. That’s going to be my first time to disassemble and assemble the parts of a system unit because I was afraid to do it for the past years because I still lack some knowledge regarding on it.

       I hope it’s going to be easy for us to do it next week! Crossfingers.

WEEK I

      June 1-4, 2015  

     After two months of vacation, the 2015-2016 school year has started again. And I can say that the first week of our ICT has been pretty good. We met our ICT teacher, Sir Richard Peralta on the second day of the classes and we already tackled the parts of the mother board.

         Well, thinking about the parts of the system unit again was a little bit difficult task for me because I haven't reviewed the parts for how many months or years.

         We had our first quiz too on the first week and I didn't pass that quiz because to be honest, I did not know that we will have our quiz that day so I just reviewed a little part of the scope and it is difficult to memorize the parts of the system unit. But because of the result of that first quiz of mine, I got inspired to study harder so that I won't get a low score again.

         And that's how my first week of ICT went. I hope for more exciting and challenging days in ICT!
